It is fair to say that John Adams is by far the most famous member of Dawes & Vary, having earned a name as the leading water lawyer in Victoria. John’s role in the development of Water Law is unprecedented and it is his great mind and amazing knowledge that keeps him at the forefront in this area. Being the longest serving member of Dawes & Vary, with almost 51 years experience, John’s passion for all things legal has in no way diminished and he is highly admired by all of his fellow team mates.
It is this skill and expertise that allows John to practice in such areas as:
- Advising Goulburn-Murray Water with regards to water issues
- Providing consulting services to many Catchment Management Authorities
- Giving expert advice to consulting engineering firms
Not only has John maintained this expertise in water, but his overall knowledge in such things as Old Law Titles, Easements, Leases and Estates provides training and assistance to all those at Dawes & Vary with all clients benefiting from John's knowledge.
Enjoying his time in Kyabram, but also spending time at his property
in Narooma , John and his wife Anne are a permanent fixture in the Kyabram
