Geoff commenced employment with Dawes & Vary in 1978, having completed a Law and Commerce Degree. Geoff’s initial years at Dawes & Vary saw him obtain a wide range of experience in all areas of practice including Criminal, Family and Property Law and Wills and Estates.
Geoff is now dedicating his experience and knowledge to an area of special interest to him being Wills and Probate. Over the past five years, some of Geoff’s experiences have included:
- assisting families in Estate Planning particularly in farming businesses
- drafting complex Wills
- assisting in testamentary distributions
- assisting clients in Part IV claims
- attending mediations and court proceedings on behalf of Estates
As a founder of Statewide Secured Investments Ltd, Geoff gained hands on experience with Mortgages and Lending. To better his knowledge in the area, Geoff completed a Diploma in Mortgage Lending.
Geoff is a keen Geelong supporter and has served on several boards
of local sporting clubs and charities such as the Local Learning Employment
Network (LLEN) and Tatura Cricket Club.
